I don't mind the volumetric lighting where it is, it add to the story and makes in more interesting. As a matter of fact I think it would hurt the image greatly to lose it. It is also consistent with this well defined style you have accomplished here. It might also reveal the naked muscle bound man with his feet dangling at the table too soon. I encourage you to keep a copy of this file unaltered. As far a changing things to get different affects on the viewer, I would consider swapping the character in the scene with all sorts of people.

Great fun. Looks like a story underlies this scene. The volumetric lighting may be a touch too strong. Fun to experiment. ;)
