I took a day off yesterday, so no day 7. T.T
I did a little bit more work on her. It's getting down to learning how to do details, so I am sure this will be a long and arduous process, I'm sure.
I wouldn't be a huge jump. Just a suggestion if money were an issue. I know it is for many of us. Blender is quite the 'godsend' for the starving digital artist. No more bad pirated version of 3ds or crippleware, etc. Looking forward to seeing more work. As far as doing hair goes, check out the 'sculpting a female head' course. It goes over hair sculpting technqieus.
Thank you! This is my first experience into 3D modeling. I kept see stuff for it, and finally decided to down load the 45-Day trial for Zbrush. I am trying to learn as much as I can in the next 45 days! I had to take a break on day 7, because I was coming close to burning out. I am glad to hear you like her. She's kind of my guinea pig for new techniques. :) I hope you achieve success in your 3-D modeling endeavors, it's tough stuff.
Your work is impressive. If you are fairly new to 3d modeling you are a natural. Although I know you had to work yourself to death to get such impressive results. Love this character, and her winged version too. Can't wait to see the final polished result. I'm inspired to work harder on 3d sculpts myself now, thank you!
Hair is so hard! I saw so many tutorials on how to go about it, and I felt so lost! I just went with something super basic though for mine. I used this tutorial to help me out https://youtu.be/JWF4SKhWKfI. I hope this helps. :D
That's gorgeous. i'm working on a girlie myself, conflicted about trying to do the hair as a sculpt or particles, neither of which i've had success w/ in the past. your hair looks awesome here though.
Yeah, I can't afford Zbrush. I might have to look at blender, but it might not be for a while.

I might, though I don't know how keen I am to learning a new program! ^_^ It might be fun though. :D
