The beginnings of the lighting exercise.
Feel free to comment at will. Once again I have strayed!
Please let me know your feelings on these. Which of the three if any do you like. All comments and suggestions are welcomed.
Very nice and inviting. Colors are good and details in the shadow. The only thing that throws me off is the actual sun background image. It doesn't match the direction of your light and shadows - coming from left but your scene light source is hitting from the right. Other than that it's fabulous.
I like the idea of this one best, I think if the yellow was made a bit smaller then the room would be like the sky.
if that were true I would choose this one...
to me it's the balance of yellow and orange to match the sky.
Thank you for taking the time to comment.
I wrestled with that a bit. My final vision was the last direct rays of the day shining brightly in the near corner and reflecting off both the unseen walls and ceiling turning the walls into a glorious play of fire red, salmon, and golden yellow. Let me see what I can do. Maybe narrow the light and cast a proper shadow from the corner. My most favorite lodging was just a thatched roof without walls. The shower runoff would meander it's way to the lagoon.
Hey, Monk! Lookin good, buddy!!
I like a warmer room as well but if I could make one observation and a possible suggestion. It seems to me that the light source you have within the room itself, is washing out any great shadows you'd be getting around the skirt of the bed, etc. I think the inner light is necessary just maybe turned down a bit and maybe just a hint of cool blue! If you try it, let me know! I'd love to hear what you find!! ;)
I agree. Thank you for your comment.
This one is the best
Must be the mirrored doors on the closet. ;)

I would surely sleep on this room...so warm and comfortable. I like the furniture arrangement...and about that landscape ....wow!
I like this one the best too. Great lighting.
