Thoughts? Well since you ask. The area just above the right knee is long and thin. I recognize that the muscle would be bunched up with the leg contracted but not to this extent. The right leg is slightly more to the foreground of the left (hip rotation) and yet it appears leaner than the left. This being said I would let her eat crackers anywhere she wants to. It is lovely.
Thanks, all, for your kind feedback. I tend to agree about that left leg. It somehow doesn't fit just right. I am thinking though, instead of the rotation of the leg being a bit off, perhaps the leg is just too tucked for the motion the piece implies. Maybe if the lower leg were less pressed against the thigh, it would look more fluid. Thoughts?
I don't know! it seems, at this angle, the juxtaposition of a hidden leg (given the pose) is certainly relative and lends to the overall motion that's been captured! I think this is one of the better pieces I've seen lately!

Well done. Love your rendition of fluid motion.

Perhaps a toe peeking out would staple down the depth! It is a nice piece, nonetheless! :)

I absolutely agree it is one of the better pieces. It has wonderful flow and emotion. The lighting is great and I love B+W. ;)

agree about hidden leg...
seems a strange turning...
good work.
Nice flow of curves and lighting. I get stuck on hidden leg. Maybe just a glimpse of the other foot.
