This is my absolute first project using any sort of 3D program. I followed Jonathan Williamson's awesome tutorial. With all of the tutorials and references found within CG Cookie (thanks to all you talented artists contributing) I will certainly try to tackle more projects.

As I said, this is my very first finished project so feel free to comment and let me know if there is anything I can work on.
I found the mesh frustrating to work with at first, maybe intimidatiing is a better word. But I think I figured it out... for spheres at least.
The only thing I'm not 100% happy about is that I couldn't figure out how to make the floor reflect the same radiance as the spheres. I have this nice glow happening, but the floor just renders a flat colour. Very dull and I wish to change it if anyone has a tip. Thanks!
