Made in Blender.
Sculpt for the snail and my niece made with dyntopo and armature deform.
Used contour retopology tool (aweseome!!!)
Tried normal baking with cycle (pretty accurate)
Curved hair made with object particles.
Hi frequency detail made with bumpmap painting with openGL rendering.
Rendered in cycles with 1000 samples and 3 layers.
original size : 4000x4000 pixels
18 hours render time on a AMD FX9370.
