The Laser Shark Final

A new mascot for my research group's laser lab. Rendered entirely in cycles, with the aid of the blender compositor. Textures generated procedurally, using Blender Internal. Some post-processing in GIMP to clean up noise generated by the fire. I used two render layers: the main image minus the fire at 500 samples, and just the fire at 2000 samples. Render time: approx. 15 hrs per layer, due to inferior hardware, and size of the image! (It was painful... so painful...) Finally got my cycles fire shader somewhere near where I like it. Comments welcome!
