I wanted to work some more on humanoid-like characters so I created this concept.
I like Peter Jackson's King Kong mood and environment so I went for a rocky valley with some old statues and skeletons on the floor.
Even though the original idea was to make it only as an animal, I later decided to give him a tribe vibe and made some body painting and gave him a weapon. Therefore I named this concept ¨The Guardian¨
