The TARDIS is modeled after the one used on-screen by Matt Smith as the 11th Doctor. I used reference images and signage textures from tardisbuilders.com, wood textures from cgtextures.com, and an HDRi Lighting/Backplate setup from moofe.com to complete this render. The TARDIS and a floor (for shadows) were rendered out to separate render layers and saved to OpenEXR files, which I then brought into Photoshop along with the backplate for final compositing (As soon as cycles has a real shadow pass, I could more easily to the entire composite in Blender). This was modeled entirely in Blender and rendered with cycles to 15,000 samples (14 Hours!).
