Sky_Locust_V2_AO Final

I updated and improved the topology of the original design that I built some time back (see the previous gallery entry) On inspection the original model was full of dead verts, double edges and broken polygons - not good. its amazing what a mess one can make when first getting to grips with modelling. The newer design has more appropriate features such as a landing gear and lifting off boosters as well as stronger wings. Also there is additional detailing around the rear. The polygon count has risen to 189,000 polygons - but can be reduced via the pro-optimizer plugin :) This AO render is also a response to Alessandro quick tip tutorial on AO for final render.
