This is one of the frames of a short animation (few seconds) that I have to do for school. ^^
Surprisingly, Blender came up closer to the result I wanted to achieve then Realflow... Therefore I did my best with Blender.
I can't go much further unfortunatly because deadlines are deadlines. ^^'
I did not know what "Queen Conch slime" were so I googled... It must be delicious yet I still don't understand why you associate them to my render. ^^
Yeah I've heard it called that name before yet I find "Shishi Odoshi" cooler. ;)
This looks really nice. I love self contained scenes like these. Would be very interesting to see the animation. Blender's fluid simulation can be very good, but requires really high resolutions and a ton of memory to get it right. Best thing about creating something that only needs to look right, not be right is that you can use the tool that works best for the situation.
I like the idea of this render! I too want to become an animator but I this I like character animation better than simulations and the partical system.

Interesting that in this case Blender beat Realflow. The bamboo troughs are great.
Reminds me of Queen Conch slime. Theirs is the slimiest I have ever encountered but they taste great.
