My "work-in-progress" entry for the Blender Guru Futuristic Vehicle Competition: my most colossal mess in animation so far. In terms of composition and making sense. Oh well, it's not bad for a high school freshman. :-)
This was a ridiculous modelling project, resulting in the use of twelve million vertices excluding the rim. I made about twenty-six detailed models, although roundabout sixteen (I'm guessing.) are actually used in the image. Since I underestimated the scale of the resulting image, most of the detail has been lost. (Example: The frame structure on the rim? Cylinders and high-poly cubes.)
There is exactly one UV map used in this image, and it was used for the wood on one of the models that you can barely see. The rest was a combination of vertex painting and procedural textures.
Enjoy if you can. Criticism is welcomed!
