I bunged this on Blender Artists a while back but have never added it to the gallery here. It isn't going to set the world alight but it is different to the usual artworks produced with Blender. Hopefully it will make someone think about unusual uses for 3D software like Blender. All I used to make this was a path curve and an array modifier in Blender 2.53 and because the camera was set to the default perspective mode it got those bits where some lines thicken a little in some places. This was inspired by Bridget Riley's 1964 artwork Current. Hers is much better than I managed.
