So my first attempt to match lighting for a male bust to a portrait photo of David Bowie. I've kept it simple with a 3 light setup and a bounce light.
I tried using the scopes/histogram as a guide as shown in tutorial but it appears as if there was one massive peak and I couldn't figure out what to do with it.
I suspect I'm not being brave enough with my lights yet as the shadows could be deeper in places, especially under the brow but overall I'm pleased with things like the form of the ear, jawline and cheekbone.
I'll move and do other variants and revisit this later.
