The male base mesh was created from a set of modelling sheets that I made using an excellent book "Anatomy for the Artist" by Jeno Barcsay.
Another excellent book I picked up is "Atlas of Human Anatomy for the Artist" by Stephen Rogers Peck.
Both were invaluable when it came to sculpting the human male.
