Blender and Gimp where used.
I followed the Blenderella DVD for the modelling of the character. Spent far too long (many months) modelling and re modelling the clothes. Nineteenth century clothes are a pain in the butt and i dont recommend you try it. The jacket made from the topology of the character and followed Jonathan Williamson's rendering and lighting hair tut for the fur / wool.
The jacket is availalble on blendswap for anyone who is interested. http://www.blendswap.com/3D-models/misc-objects/wool-fur-jacket-with-large-lapels-and-tails/
