This is an original creation of a Monarch butterfly. I hand painted all the textures for the wings, head, and body using Texture Paint, which was a lot of fun. I made the eye texture from scratch using Affinity Designer to create a vector image, then used Photoshop to generate a Normal map and Bump Map from it. Weight Painted the legs so the hair follicles would be (as they naturally are) on the insides and only toward the bottoms. There will be more added to this scene in the future.
