I have a deep respect for music-visual artists I put together a tempo-synced looping animation with semi-reactive elements. I used 100% Blender Cycles [2.78.5 (for denoising)] and used the bastioni labs addon for the human figure.
This mostly relied on Dynamic weight paint, a baked depth map for the texture, and procedural volume noise for the hologram-building-drone lasers. The next steps will be upgrading the focus (light blocks) into something more interesting and reactive, and also upgrading the background instead of using the sky texture.
