There are a few details missing--the sort of things that drummers might notice...but it's getting pretty close to being done.

I played around with the colors in Gimp to try to get it to match the Gretsch Walnut finish. Like this:

The cymbal textures come from a vintage K Zildjian Istanbul "new stamp" cymbal that I own. I took the pictures with my HTC Thunderbolt cell phone--not a good camera at all. Then I used Mind Tex to create a normal map. I need to tone down the normal map on the cymbals. Hand hammered cymbals can be kind of irregular but the cymbal in this image looks unnaturally bumpy to me.
