Donkey Hotay de la mancha - setting off on his first sally on his noble steed Rocinante.
Wanted to make this guy for awhile but needed to read Don Quixote first to get a feel for the character (am slow reader :) )
Notes:
- there is little info on the clothes he is wearing so I've based the outfit on the clothes of the people he meets
- this is from his first adventure so he has his original helmet, which is described as a simple metal skull cap, to which he attaches a Papier-mache visor and neck guard and a leather shield
- I've made Rocinante a hobby horse as 1: I didn't want to sculpt a horse and 2: a donkey riding a horse seemed silly
- the pattern on the rocks is a modified version of the procedural texture I used to create the rust on his breast plate.
