Hey guys
this is my steampunk robot version of the insect "umbonia spinosa" which disguises itself as a thorn.
The first time I saw this insect on the internet I immediately wanted to make it in 3D.
A few months later I still havn´t done it but then when I saw the CG Cookie Robot Contest I knew exactly what I was going to do.
Modeling made in Blender and compositing and a bit of painting done in Photoshop.
