Blender ship model 1 Final

Please forgive my pride in accomplishment, for this ridiculously simple image. I'm sentimental about this image. In 2009, I was inspired by a few thoughts, to make a game in 3D... inspite of lacking any 3D modeling or programming experience. In the mid 90s, I had dabbled with 3D world mathematics, attempting to develop a 3D environment visualized in QuickBasic (think a primative Wolfenstein 3D). Anyway after sketching a few concept screens, this ship was modeled using paper and pencil. The vertices and wireframe was drawn using lines on a piece of paper from orthogonal views. Later, research on 3D modelling apps lead me to Blender. So I learned a few hours of Blender, then made this model. :) Yeah, it was awesome, and lead to a whole lot more awesomeness in 2010. But I stopped working on anything art-related and the game project in June 2010, until November 2013. :( Now I'm back in the game, figuratively and literally.
