Following the Piero tutorial, i was inspired to work on a "macareux moine" : a bird that always fascinated me by his particulary sad looking. I will try to give him a great smile by following the animation course.
The modelling part of the course was accessible, texturing a bit tricky due to the texturing user interface, the need of saving constantly each modification, and an unhandy clone brush. And i find the particule system is really hard : after 3 hours twiking, i give up of making feathers to follow precisly the thigh for example.
34min to render with cycles with 300 samples, thats why i turned off reflections on feather...
