Been following the Kent Tramell Realistic Head series. Although I know this head is hardly realistic, I felt like changing it up for several reasons.
I wanted to learn the technique, not just to duplicate his actions, which is why I picked not only a more stylized portrait, but also decided to make an African American face, so I can't just copy Kent's SSS settings, but have to learn how to use them correctly.
Also, I just really want to use the hair system to make an afro.
