HUMAN is 6 months old!

To celebrate this half-anniversary in style, we've rounded up some of our favorite renders inspired by Kent Trammell's seminal Blender course.

This one gave us goosebumps...

The course is made up of 80+ lessons which total more than 25 hours.

All the considered, we weren't expecting renders to show up as soon as they did. Some of you truly powered through the whole course - and the results had us floored.

Davor Drčelić

Adding his own spin to the HUMAN character, Davor created an astronaut and adding procedural ventiligo.

Pawel Somogyi

"HUMAN is all you ever wanted to know about 3d portraits and more," said Pawel. "I can't get away from it. Get it...you won't regret it!"

Iliya Mirochnik

Ilya created a portrait of poet Joseph Brodsky with Blender, a little bit of ZBrush and Marvelous Deisnger.

Haris created a samurai character.

The head was modelled, shaded and rendered in Blender, the armour was textured with substance 3d painter.

Ivan Novikov

Ivan's character is loosely based on Nick Jonas and he plans on converting it into a real time charater. Ivan loved HUMAN: "I can't recommend this course enough."
