When I say "imagine a vehicle" I'll bet a million dollars you're thinking about the exterior. And that's why the exterior is important. It defines everything about a vehicle's visual perception: Style, utility, purpose. This week we're going to build a vehicle exterior based on concepts like building to scale and building from blueprints.

QUESTION: for my car I've begin by modelling the whole shape then separate pieces from this block to detail or modification ... is it good/bad or just a way to go different from the one you did here ?
I find i need to avoid nonplaner quads more than triangles, tiangles dont break everything

kkjcummings Yeah that's a relief considering my blueprints are wonky.
Also remember
thecabbagedetective you're only going to be doing half the model. The mirror modifier will take care of the other half
Concave = "caved in"...that's my mnemonic
