This stream is part of week 2 in the August 2019 Class: "Get Started Building Stuff with Blender 2.8"
Plain gray models can be boring. So we paint them with colors! This is where "textures" work their magic. But before we can paint on our 3D models, we have to layout UVs. If you have no idea what I'm talking about, don't worry. After you watch the texturing chapter and the live event for this week, you'll know exactly what I'm talking about.
Class Live Stream Schedule: RSVP to get notified when we go live.

How to have the attributes of the materials texturing the object makes it really flat
I admit I enjoy UV unwrapping
I am struggling on mine haha but I am following your perfect version.
I'm with you, Kent
texture space, neat
jjamesley Yes, if you add a second material, then select the verts you want it to affect and hit assign. May cause minor issues with texture stuff though. Unless you mean texturing two different materials with one texture map, but yes that's also possible.
Assign vertices to different materials
jjamesley It is possible.
its ok Aaron you will be rewarded in Blender heaven
Sure, Jamesley
