Finishing the sled project
After modeling our snow sled last week, this week we're adding textures, materials, and getting a final render. Topics and techniques include procedural texture creation - because hand-painting textures is for the birds 😉 - materials like wood and painted metal, using the new Ambient Occlusion node for adding grime, and adding some treatment with the compositor.
node wrangler only give some usefull functionallity. No extra shaders
Omar you always crack me up 😂
dostovel now there is a real questions! ;D
[Q] Do you watch CGC tutorials from the regular website or do you have super special powers and access a super vault?
I agree with Pavel. It just grants you a couple of extra features, not a whole process change.
[Q] What ist the Generated Texture Coordinate actually?
rationalrats better to get used to it soon, I think. It's just some useful tools, not a complete process changer
[Q]
As a bit of a n00b to the whole node/ procedural/ "flow-programming" approach to texturing, should I perhaps NOT USE the node wrangler (while learning)?
My body is ready!
