This stream is part of week 2 in the August 2019 Class: "Get Started Building Stuff with Blender 2.8"
Texturing introduces color to your models but materials make your model appear to be plastic, or wood, or metal, etc. If you're asking yourself "What's the difference", fear not! I will make sure you know the difference by the end of this week.
We will also be exploring the Eevee engine and how it works together with texturing and shading for a realtime workflow.
Class Live Stream Schedule: RSVP to get notified when we go live.

Yeah, well, be careful with those assumptions, Paul. Not everyone knows everything.
I think of that quote from Ratatouille - "You could fill a book with things Dad doesn't know. A lot of books"
Teachers dilemma:
"Do you think that if for the homework we had to model the sign, the barrel and the sword.... if I modeled the barrel and the sing only and the sign reads "prize: sword inside", would I get a bad grade?"
Hey Phillip!
silentheart00 ... I'm just surprised ... I figured if I knew it, EVERYONE must lol
Heyo to anyone I may have missed.
Quantic stuff is a tough subject to wrap your head around, for sure.
The grading dilemma - *that's* something I've delved into ;P
Give him some slack, Paul. Not everyone knows everything.
