    I can't imagine how commercial 3D developers could interrupt Blender's momentum. Sure they can throw more money at development for innovation's sake. But naturally Blender will assimilate their tech over time and we all benefit from it

    They're always targeting Blender. I'm sure they've been keeping an eye on the progress. Probably have even tried to buy Ton out. Just like when Autodesk noticed the advantages of Scupltris.
