The Principled shader is an excellent addition to Blender's shader system. But I've also seen enough confusion and misconception about the uber shader to warrant a discussion.
In this live stream we'll talk about what the Principle Shader is, when it's useful, and when it's not so useful.

A story behind the portfolio...
Cool
Yeah artstation is honestly probably better than a website. You can give them options too: "Here's a link to my portfolio on artstation or you can see the attached PDF"
I was talking to a designer at work, and he told me that for a portfolio to be noticeable it has to have a story behind. Not just artwork, but also a backstory (designer in automotive industry)
No website... So I better upload my renders to Artstation and pass the link around?
AFAIK websites are more common than PDF's. Do you have a website, Omar?
A grey wizard smoking too much old toby
I don't remember doing a PDF when I was looking for jobs out of college..but that's not a bad approach. Equivalent in function to a website I'd say
Or do people look for a website more than the PDF?
That's a good view on those things, Kent.
