This is a unique livestream tailored toward teachers interested in CG Cookie's Pilot Program. It's designed to be a crash course introduction to Blender, going over key terminology and hotkeys, as well as an open forum for Kent to field your questions.
This webinar is primarily for those who have been invited. However if you have a particular interest in seeing CG Cookie's Blender curriculum taught in your school or your child's school, please email [email protected] for an invite.
Science Technology Engineering Math.
Dayse says it all the time but I only half know what it means lol
for me it never was a decision. Our kids at the youth center can't afford expensive software. And BTW, Blender can do much more stuff than other packages. At least with modelling i can say that for sure.
Remind me "STEM" again? System technology something...
Very cool, Kent
Ahh you're very kind. I'm honestly not sure lol. We have a new team member, Dayse, who will be in the chat - she's the one leading the school program. We just had the idea to do a stream for teachers so I imagine in a few months more will come.
I would love to teach 3D in high school, but all they seem to care about is STEM and English, at least when I was poking around. That could've been the organization I was talking to, too.
Huh. Well, it's a start.
Wish I could help with getting your numbers up. What can we do to spread the word for next time?
I believe only a handful today. 4 I was told. It's certainly a test to see if this helps teachers make a better decision about incorporating a Blender curriculum via CGC
