Our 3D backhoe model is taking shape. Progressing past the initial block out stages, we're starting to finalize the hard-surface pieces of the machine. In part 3, I'd like to cover the creation of hydraulic lines and the advanced shrinkwrap technique for cutting construction lines on smooth shapes. Though given that I'm predicting this a month away, these topics are subject to change.

@theluthier that is one thing I've discovered about me and Blender. Ever since back when I first learned enough about the interface to be confident working, I can work for hours and I just love it. If I do a meshing marathon on a day off, I have to set alarms to remind me to eat!

I can say that the handful of hours I carved out for modeling my piece of the backhoe were my favorite. No pressure to record anything, just turn on music / podcast and model....heaven
