Hard Surface Modeling in the Winter Months
Continuing with the winter theme, this week we're modeling a classic snow sled: The "Flexible Flyer" (more or less). The focus is on hard surface, polygon modeling. We'll be starting from scratch so this means sourcing reference images and generating a modeling sheet in addition to the entire 3D modeling process.
Join us for some fresh Blender 2.8 modeling shenanigans!
Using 2.8, but had to spend a lot of time customizing configuration.
Everytime I sit down to work on Blender 2.8, I get a fresh copy.
I like to stick to the newest version as a principle and Im not bothered by 2.8
I rarely use 2.79 anymore. 2.80 is not perfect, but the general workflow is a lot faster if you get used to it.
I have switched entirely to 2.8 and I feel fairly comfortable. Luckily I am not very trained, so adapting isn't much trouble.
I only use 2.79 if the cookie Course files don't work properly.. 2.8 ROCKS!! 🤘🏻😎
need some addon to be transfered as well
Crashes and bugs aside, 2.8 is great. Fundamentally the same as 2.7, but slightly different shortcuts and different UI.
I've started using 2.8 after first live stream and did not go back to 2.79 sinse then :D
I'm waiting for 2.8 to be stable
