Hard Surface Modeling in the Winter Months
Continuing with the winter theme, this week we're modeling a classic snow sled: The "Flexible Flyer" (more or less). The focus is on hard surface, polygon modeling. We'll be starting from scratch so this means sourcing reference images and generating a modeling sheet in addition to the entire 3D modeling process.
Join us for some fresh Blender 2.8 modeling shenanigans!
MMatthew,
thanks for the history page!
(seriously, not being sarcastic, I appreciate it when making something...)
: )
Guys help me cause I stuck. What is the work for opposite to realistic when you think about graphics? Like cartoon style but there was this better work and I can't remember it. Please help.
Yes Matthew!
[Q] It would be interesting to know how to rig this for animation.
agreed, good job Jake
yup!
: )
Right!
@Jake,
the image you have posted earlier DOES explain the structure quite well actually...
if anyone is modeling this, do take a look...
Well remember though, the sled skis are supposed to bend in front because they're flexible, to steer the sled
