To kickoff the New Year as digital artists, what better way to start than being inspired? It's important that we maintain a steady flow of inspiration to both inform our artistic eye and challenge us.
In this stream we're shining a spotlight on artists that have inspired us lately and we want you to come prepared to share some artists as well! We will look through their galleries / portfolios for the purpose of gleaning insight into their technique and artistry.
Pinterest also has creative writing prompts which can be great inspiration too.
I think it is better to create a blog (tumblr, blogger, etc) to post your work while developing. At the same time use Youtube, FB or Insta for generating an audience before you start using Artstation which is more professional portfolio-based.

I like that you can follow peoples' galleries in pinterest too
oollavulpes You can, I've seen amature work, but I treat it more like a portfolio where I only post the best work I have. Up to you.
Pintrest is awesome.
Haha disastrous.....I know what you mean
I now have 23 tabs open and hours worth of distraction from actually creating.
is it worth posting on artstation when your skill level is still quite amature?
