In honor of the spookiest month, each week in October I'm going to be hopping on a stream to sculpt a goblin character with Blender. The little guy was designed by our very own Mr. Tim Von Rueden!
At this point, I anticipate making a sprint toward home plate! I plan to finish detail sculpting and calling this guy 100% sculpted.
Come hang out. Learn some character modeling tricks-o-the-trade. Bring your questions about Blender, modeling, sculpting, CGC, art, movies, music - whatever - and let's have some Halloween-themed fun.

cut it in deeper and smooth it out...
Is rigging the bane of your existence?
I often use the blob brush for making holes (nostrils and ears)
Do you ever use the blob brush instead of inflate?
I saw once a live stream by I think it was the z-brush guys, where they had a mini competition and they let users share their screens and what they're working on. Maybe CG Cookie can also do something like that.
I had to look to make sure myself that it was still there
It is hard to say, I use Shapeways. Depending on who you use, the size of the model, and the material, you just have to check around for pricing.
have you used "optimize" on sculpt yet?
Depends on the size. Scaling up a sculpt raise price exponentially not linear. I have had figures around 4" tall cost 30-40 on shapeways
Are the eyes going to get any sculpting?
