I agree. It's hard to keep someones attention on a long shot because you need to keep the eyes interested.
It's a very efficient shot. I miss long shots, all the quick cuts get annoying.
You could animate it to look old timey

We have come around full circle almost because now Walmart delivers milk to my car.
