This event is part of the August 2018 Class, "Getting Started with 3D Modeling & Blender"
Digital sculpting is the more artistically intuitive method of 3D modeling. If pushing and pulling verts felt like the hard way of doing things, sculpting will be a welcomed alternative!
This stream collaborates with the Fundamentals of Digital Sculpting course. We’ll be discussing/demonstrating the pros and cons of digital sculpting as well as how it compares to mesh modeling. Again, practice makes perfect with any craft, so we will practice sculpting as well. Bring your questions and be sure to have your pen and tablet ready to practice with me!
I will be the stubborn guy this week. My sculpt will be in 2.8! If there are problems I will adapt and persevere!
Kent, making it look easy lol
Q: do you also use brush details ?
The big boppers always do Sickelo
Hmm, considering my project for this week is getting more ambitious by minute (and it's totally your fault, Scott), I think I might take the easier 2.79 way out...
QUESTION: I understand if not due to this being a sculpting week but would it be acceptable to mesh model small things? Just that I have an idea for a scene with a few small, non focal props so pushin' and pullin' verts would probably be quicker, but if that's not acceptable it's no issue.
is that strike 2 ? :D
Things like Grab/Thumb, Crease/Pinch and Clay/Clay Strips are on the same hot key, you just need to press it twice. But, sadly, it's doesn't work backward :D
