Omar, the hours of daylight are always short in winter in Ireland. So that is why we have daylight saving hours. We change our clock twice a year.

Tobles, you are asking where? Guess what. I live in a place called Gallows Hill. Its nameplace puts many property buyers off. It has a second name, a sunshiny type.

Volumetric Rendering *today*, Junior

If you're like me, a few years ago you tried volumetric rendering with Cycles. And after waiting 30 seconds for your computer to calculate 1/100 samples, you cancelled the render and never tried it again.  The fact is volumetrics are extremely complex to calculate and sloooooow to render.

Until Eevee! Volumetrics in Eevee shocked me the moment I heard it was a feature and I have to say they're quite competent. Finally we can edit volumetrics quickly. Sure you lose some authenticity but it's well worth adding this tool to your Blender utility belt.
