Because I think the stitching is fun to make..
A random project, perhaps, but it's a fun one nonetheless! Using curves and procedural thread materials we can achieve a high-fidelity result without too much work or time. Just think of all the patches and embroidery you can add to your characters! ;)
In rl sewing that short part would be under the eye outline
Blender has the add-on built in, just need to turn it on.
Kent: A small gap in the stitching like that might not hurt, and might even add to the hand-stitched illusion.
I was thinking the same thing.. just optimize the curves a bit. Do you need an addon for that or does Blender offer that option?
simplify curve add-on might be an option to retain edit-ability after conversion
I feel like the stitch of the right eye is too close to the mouth
Collections are great imo
[Q] JW suggest using sculpt tools to edit the shape
I like it too :)
For me, new the Outliner feels a lot more like Photoshop and its group system, so I like it.
