Because I think the stitching is fun to make..
A random project, perhaps, but it's a fun one nonetheless! Using curves and procedural thread materials we can achieve a high-fidelity result without too much work or time. Just think of all the patches and embroidery you can add to your characters! ;)

we have given Kent a challenge by making him use curve from edge haha

There's not too much going on yet but that grain settles so quickly after moving the view

I also kinda miss the little curve we got when we joined two different nodes in 2.7. The straight lines just doesn't feel right
