But other than that it works fine for me. Just have to go in and explicitly tell Windows to knock that bs off.

@theluthier Windows 10 has some pretty invasive privacy settings...

How do we like Windows 10, ya'll?

@theluthier from my little experience I found Ubuntu GNOMEto be the most user friendly. that said I haven't compared with a many. At work we have Red Hat but a very effective IT support :)

dostovel Yes I'm open to Windows. But I haven't used it since vista lol. I consider it a close 3rd option but can imagine going for it since it supports the most apps

dostovel Well Canada is going to be fun for you lol

@theluthier I guess the splintered nature of Linux may be due to the "pizza effect". Asking super-power-users what they want in an OS is like asking a large group of friends what they want on their pizza. I don't mind Windows consolidating all that stuff for me - I'm only a "power user" when it comes to a couple of discrete applications.
Alike is a 2015 3D computer-animated short film directed by Daniel Martinez Lara and Rafa Cano Mendez. The animation production took 4 years to complete along with the help of ex-animation students using Blender. The animated short is a story of the relationship of a father and his son who live in a society "where order and work ethic literally choke the colour and creativity out of its inhabitants". -Wikipedia
Alike is one of the most acclaimed Blender short films to date, having received numerous awards at film festivals and viewed over 10 million times across the internet. Join Kent Trammell, Jonathan Lampel, and Tim Von Rueden for a riveting discussion about the film and bring popcorn! Also some tissues because it's a tear-jerker.
But other than that it works fine for me. Just have to go in and explicitly tell Windows to knock that bs off.
