Get feedback on your work!
This week, Lampel and Kent will be taking a look at a few more of your artworks! The point of these is to help everyone (including us!) to improve our artistic observation and design skills, while developing the thick skin necessary to succeed in this highly competitive field.
Have something you'd like critiqued? We'll be doing one more of these (after this one) for the month of September, so you can still submit your artwork here. Note: Only Citizen PRO members are eligible for submission. But all Citizen members can watch the stream.
UPDATE: We'll be critiquing submissions from rrichm, michalzisman, mousefactory, and silentheart00. The focus is mostly character-based.
If you missed the last one, don't worry! You can still catch it on the past events page.
Yes! composition is so ethereal, it eludes me, there doesn't seem to be a formula, it is more like winging it and it starts to get so tedious when things don't look appealing. But it is such an important part, it is eye candy. I wish there was a way to teach that part in a tutorial but it is such a personal part of the art side
The ultimate goal is animation using stylized characters
Specifically if you're new and still learning.
Heh, been there, going through that.
Another question... in your renders, do you prefer going more for hyper realism or stylized art?
cool!
Oh dangs, that is polemic
Insane!
=O
Any tips of you want to move into stylized character creation? If you're taking questions.
