The content is other websites feel very industrialized, made to please the masses and very robotic and tiresome... here feels more organic and the way you guys take your time to explain things is much better

  • Kent Trammell(theluthier)

Welcome rrichm - Thanks for watching, even though at school 🤘

  • silentheart00

    @theluthier No prob!

  • Omar Domenech(dostovel)

@theluthier And of course I like the content here at CGC, but specially the way the content creators teach. I've seen a LOT of tutorials, from a lot of other sites and I've find this to be the one were people explain things the best

  • Kent Trammell(theluthier)

Thanks for the clarification silentheart00 👍

It's raining while I'm at school but I'm still trying to watch the stream

  • silentheart00

@theluthier Yeah, haven't been able to get back to them. But I guess if the bone sections of it are a decent enough representation, size and relationships, overall design, I suppose. I do want to add things like scuffs and paint chipping, I just haven't gotten to that part in my studies. There will be a character that goes with them, too, but that's far down the line.

    Hello! :)

  • Kent Trammell(theluthier)

dostovel Haha yes! That's great to hear. In the last couple years we've been trying to nurture our community so members get to know each other, learn from each other, push each other - rather than merely coming here to watch videos and leave.

  • Kent Trammell(theluthier)

Glad you're here early @silentheart00: Your model looks like a very accurate representation of the art, so I'm not exactly sure how to approach giving feedback. Is there something specific you'd like us to critique about the wings in their current state?

Get feedback on your work!

This week, Lampel and Kent will be taking a look at a few more of your artworks! The point of these is to help everyone (including us!) to improve our artistic observation and design skills, while developing the thick skin necessary to succeed in this highly competitive field.

Have something you'd like critiqued? We'll be doing one more of these (after this one) for the month of September, so you can still submit your artwork here. Note: Only Citizen PRO members are eligible for submission. But all Citizen members can watch the stream.

UPDATE: We'll be critiquing submissions from rrichm, michalzisman, mousefactory, and silentheart00. The focus is mostly character-based.

If you missed the last one, don't worry! You can still catch it on the past events page
