Sean Kennedy is a VFX veteran with an impressively long IMDB page and is a longtime friend of CG Cookie. He's probably worked on your favorite TV show! Sean also runs the OpenVisualFX blog, which has a lot of helpful tutorials that cover how to create special effects with open source software like Blender and Natron.
If you have any questions for Sean, drop them below before the interview! I'd recommend watching his Blender Conference talks if you're interested in what it's like to work in Hollywood.
Also be sure to check out his series on creating a Matte Painted VFX shot, which covers a really wide range of compositing topics:

I hate MasterXeon and his ability to make crazy cool stuff look easy.
[Q] Are deadlines and workload crazier today than 20 years ago?
That darn de-noiser. The ultimate firefly swatter.
Joel killed them all
Fireflies save lives
To get the sparkling in the paint you could just render with less samples and it'd probably also get the job done, lol
[Q] Have you always pull off whatever VFX is asked of you? or are there stories of dude this is impossible to do
"Glossy and Black and......done!" great quote.
So how do we know that he is eve in his house. Maybe he is composited and he's actually at the beach?
