I find annoying people like the guys from flippednormals who, apparently, have been posting blender videos because of the hype.. but have been giving blender and its users crap for a while. Don't get me wrong, it's good they're riding the wave, because it brings more awareness to blender... but still, it's somewhat annoying.

I agree. I have been using C4D for more than 20 years. And Blender IS awesome.
I have a question, why are the courses they sell on BlenderMarket more expensive than a monthly subscription?

Beta testing in not free. You have to actually work on testing the addon. you're paying with your time. It has to count.
