This event is part of the March 2018 Class, "Creating Stylized Characters with Blender".
Like Dorothy, our characters have so far lived in a black and white world. This week we’re leaving Kansas and adding color. There’s many methods for creating our character texture(s) including hand-painting, baking maps that accent the painting process (great for the less painterly character artists), as well as photo-sourcing. There's also a couple different formats: Vertex Colors and UV/Textures. All things we will be discussing!
Or better yet, how do we know what the correct color is?
See, I said I have a lot of questions 🙈
I just can't fathom, not seeing certain colors, but as Kent said, are we sure that the colors we think we see are actually that color?
Was there any push back for you getting into art given your condition?
ah, ok
And no I haven't tried the colorblind glasses. They're expensive and don't always work!
Is there any advantage to color blind... do you see better in the shadows?
Strong Protan is what it's called
Respect to the color blind. I take color for granted, no doubt.
Late to the party, but what type of color blindness do you have?
