This event is part of the January 2018 Class, "Getting Started with 3D Modeling & Blender".Â
Second week of the class: Enter the world of mesh modeling! This is the oldest form of building objects in 3D, in the computer. The discussing/demo today revolves around the technical art of “pushing and pulling verts”, as modelers lovingly called it.
We're piggy-backing off the Mesh Modeling Fundamentals course here, where practice makes perfect. So we’ll be mesh-modeling an object or two to demonstrate tools and workflow available with Blender. It’s ideal if you practice along with me!
Thanks dude. You probably know them best of all, ha! Appreciate you hanging out each week
Live streams are great, keep up the cool work man
Yeah maybe a poll will get ideas flowing
Maybe I should do a poll about the next class. See what you Citizens want next :)
I'm planning my next class for march, which I'm thinking will be stylized character sculpting (riffing off the wrangler course). I consider that intermediate-to-advanced level.
One of the time consuming aspects of beginner material is needing to explain every tool, button, concept etc. With intermediate/advanced, there's less of Blender to explain and more of workflow. It's still a lot but time is saved not having to explain object origins or edge cut, etc.
is there a plan on going advance on topics? I's starting to get a feeling that complex stuff will take way too much time for live streams
What's up Omar?
I got a question about the live streams....
If its a problem that occurs to a lot of people then maybe, but if its not a common problem then don't bother, really
Is everyone else's stream getting cut off before I say 'bye'?
