We did the streaming for starbucks release of the pumpkin spice latte this year.

It did make me realize how much I am not a fan of wirecast in all honesty tho.

I feel like the way to add in overlays feels clunky. Not the audio inputs no. We did have a little bit of the cut in and out but not too much. We had to hold a 72 hour straight stream and it did crash on us once though. It wasn't cause of the bitrate tho just the longevity

Ok Cool... Kinda 3am here :)

    Can't wait for Witchfire! ;)
    Nice teaser on YouTube.

Kent.. How long do you think this class will go?

  • Kent Trammell(theluthier)

Wirecast has just been...buggy imo. Like sometimes a lower bitrate/lower res stream will cut in and out every few seconds but bumping up bitrate and resolution will hold stream fine. Or audio inputs will stop working all of a sudden, requiring a program close and reopen. Little things that make it feel unpolished.

Do you experience that stuff at all?

  • Omar Domenech(dostovel)

15 minutes off, stopping the music now. Sorry Noel

  • Kent Trammell(theluthier)

Ooo I may have to pick your brain then nathangarduno. Thanks for offering!

  • Nathan Garduno(nathangarduno)

Let me know if you ever have questions for it. We use wirecast and blackmagic switchers for our facebook streams at work.

Although we haven't done remote streamers before so I am not sure how that ingest workflow looks like.

I was hoping the problem was fixed Eye of the tiger montage style

This event is part of the January 2018 Class, "Getting Started with 3D Modeling & Blender".

To kick-off the beginner-oriented Class, we're simply opening Blender and getting comfortable with it. We’ve all been there: Opening Blender (or any 3D package) for the first time, gazing at the crazy UI, trying to orbit in the viewport, crying...Ok, maybe you were stronger than me and didn’t cry. But the reality is 3D software is daunting. There’s SO MUCH to digest especially when you’re a beginner.

This stream coincides with the Blender Basics course. We're going to overview Blender and 3D from an absolutely beginner perspective. What is Blender for? What can it do? Wait, this isn’t a juicing seminar?

We’re also going to open the floor, ask me anything (AMA) style, so I can answer all your questions about getting started with Blender.
